The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) has prioritized capacity building and support for countries in addressing the impacts of climate change in the context of its responsibilities related to the Paris Agreement. To this end, the climate change glossary, which includes relevant terms, has been made accessible and will be dynamically updated.

The importance and role of watershed management in the catchment areas of dams was the focus of a specialized session held by the International Center for Integrated Watershed Management and Bio-Resources in collaboration with the Agricultural and Natural Resources Research and Training Center of Khuzestan Province and the Khuzestan Water and Power Organization.
Dr. Hamid Nouri, the head of the International Center for Integrated Management of Watershed and Bio-Resources in Arid and Semi-Arid Regions was the speaker of the fifth specialized meeting on Integrated Watershed Management and Biological Resources, which took place on October 26, 2023, as a hybrid session (online and in-person).
The topic of the fourth specialized meeting on integrated watershed management was the application of adaptive management in the health of watersheds.
Gorgan University of Medical Sciences and the Iranian Scientific Association of Rainwater Harvesting Systems, in collaboration with the Natural Resources and Watershed Management Organization, the Ministry of Agriculture Jihad, and other national stakeholders, will host the Thirteenth National Conference on Rainwater Harvesting Systems in Iran.
During the second half of 2024, a campaign for World Soil Day will be held, featuring various events, actions, and initiatives aimed at raising awareness about the potential and challenges of sustainable soil management.

Abstract of the analytical report of export and import of agriculture and food sector in 1400: In 1400, the total export amount of the agricultural sector is 85,475.8 thousand tons with a value of 40,226.5 million dollars, which has a share equal to 90.6% of the total amount of non-oil exports and a share of 81.10% of the total value of non-oil exports. Therefore, exports in 1400 have decreased by 06.4% in terms of weight and 84.15% in terms of value. 1400, the import of the agricultural sector is 55.31488 thousand tons with a value of about 15.17899 million dollars, which is equivalent to 43.76% of the total amount of non-oil goods imports and a share of 80.33% of the total value of non-oil goods imports for the year.
